My experience with menopause began around the age of 40, possibly even earlier. Like many women, I didn’t realise that the symptoms I was experiencing were related to menopause. I attributed my symptoms to stress from starting a new business and ‘getting old’.
Six years later, it became evident that I was experiencing perimenopause. While some symptoms came and went, others persisted and became increasingly difficult to manage. Doctors were quick to prescribe antidepressants, steroids, and other medications, yet no one recognised the connection to menopause.
Through my research and the unwavering support of those around me, I began to make strides. Because of my journey, I felt compelled to assist other women in some capacity. I trained in Menopause Yoga alongside a wonderful group of women and furthered my studies to become a certified Menopause Movement Coach.
I have acquired the knowledge and skills to support women navigating all stages of menopause, providing assistance through coaching, private sessions, and workshops.
